December...

December is upon us with lot's of sunshine and cold weather. We so love Vancouver in December, but this year with the upcoming Olympics it is even more exciting! The world will be here in just a couple of short months and everyone is scrambling to make sure that everything is ready. We are so excited about the opportunity to reach out to many with the gospel. PRAY FOR OUR CHURCHES AND OUR ASSOCIATION AS WE GET READY TO GREET THE WORLD WITH THE GOOD NEWS!

The kids are both doing well. Melissa is loving school with all of her art and music classes this year. Such a creative girl! Matthew is...well...tolerating school :) He loves his teacher and has many great friends. If only there wasn't always so much homework! Seems to really get in the way of all of his lego building!

This term is ending on a very postive note with the development of new campus ministry at the University of the Fraser Valley. Every Thursday over 50 students attended a pancake breakfast. Next term, the pancake breakfast will be joined together with an Alpha study. PRAY FOR STUDENTS TO BE OPEN TO HEARING ABOUT JESUS AND FOR MANY TO RESPOND! Thursday nights were devoted to "Elevate" a worship time on campus. We also are experiencing the birth of a new student church - Re-Generation. PRAY FOR THE YOUNG PASTOR AS HE LEADS OUR BRAND NEW GROUP. There is so much potential in this young church, lot's of excitement and new young leaders.
